Well well well, my first journal entry. Hmm... What to say. Well I certainly got a warm welcome from the community two comments already! Thanks `smashmethod and *mrcool256. However I feel like I may have stepped into the firing lines as it seems there is some heavy stuff going on around here. I'm not much for politics so I'll leave it at this: As a developer myself I tend to side with Jark on this one.

About me; I'm not much of an artist, more of a hobiest of art. Application design is where my strengths lie but I do enjoy the GUI portion which is in some aspects the canvas that I display my art on. So look for mostly Icons, buttons, maybe layouts from me. I do dabble a little though in website layouts, but generally they stay conceptual and in Photoshop. I may also be doing some experimenting with 3D rendering if I could only find the time.

Anyway, I just wanted to get a journal entry going. Thanks to the entire community who have helped inspire me. See my favorites for some of those.
